Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.
There was a moment in my life when everything could have gone either way backward into comfort or forward into purpose. I chose forward.
Leaving my home country and stepping into the unknown was not just a move; it was a strategic life decision. I carried more than a suitcase I carried responsibility, fear, hope, and the quiet determination to build a better future for my children.
The transition was not glamorous. I started in housekeeping, learning discipline, humility, and resilience in its rawest form. But deep within, I knew I was meant for more. That realization became my turning point. I made the decision to step into caregiving not just as a job, but as a calling.
That single decision redefined my trajectory.
Through caregiving, I discovered my strength, my compassion, and my leadership. I grew from simply working to serving with purpose. Over time, I evolved into not just a caregiver, but a mentor, an educator, and now a businesswoman building something meaningful for others.
Growth did not come easy it came through long nights, emotional challenges, and moments where giving up seemed easier. But every challenge refined me. Every patient taught me something no textbook ever could.
Looking back, I realize: growth is not found in comfort zones it is built in the courage to choose differently.
That decision didnโt just change my life. It built the woman I am today.
